My friend and colleague Peter O'Connell doesn't like to complain without offering solutions. He suggests that other voice talent could do the job better than Michael Douglas, who made his NBC voice-over debut last week. As the great Billy West would say, screen actors are not voice actors, so why pay this guy tons of money when a highly versatile, multi-character person could do it (gladly) for much less? Mr. Douglas may be a decent enough actor, but his presence comes from the body language, not the voicebox. Yeesh!
